Operational Context

Dassault Falcon 2000DX — twin-engine business jet

The 2000DX first flew in 2005 and entered service in 2007. It shared structural design with the 2000EX but carried less fuel. The aircraft emphasized efficiency on medium-range routes.

Two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW308 engines producing approximately 7,000 pounds of thrust (31.1 kN) each power the jet. Cruise speed approaches Mach 0.80. Maximum takeoff weight exceeds 39,000 pounds (17,690 kg), with range near 3,250 nautical miles (6,019 km).

The 2000DX appealed to operators not requiring maximum intercontinental range. Its spacious cabin and reliable systems supported steady sales. It remains active within the Falcon family fleet.
