These rankings identify which airports recorded the longest typical departure delays during the selected month. Airports are ranked by departure delay, with cancellation rate used as a secondary tiebreaker.

These monthly airport performance reports rank qualified airports using aggregated departure delay and cancellation data from AeroCorner’s airport analytics pipeline. Flight Delay Report — July 2026

In July 2026, Sochi (AER) recorded the longest typical departure delays among qualified airports, with departures averaging 1 hour 10 minutes late. A total of 124 departures were cancelled, representing 2.1% of tracked flights. This monthly view reflects tracked data through July 31, 2026.

Kazan (KZN) ranked second while handling a comparable number of tracked departures, with 3,443 flights compared with 5,801 at Sochi (AER). Despite the similar traffic levels, Sochi (AER) remained the worst-performing airport for delays for six straight months.
