Operational Context

Beechcraft Premier II — light business jet

The Premier II entered service in 2011 with updated systems and interior refinements. It retained the composite fuselage and swept wing of its predecessor. The aircraft was designed for short business missions.

Two Williams FJ44 turbofan engines producing approximately 2,300 pounds of thrust (10 kN) each power the aircraft. Cruise speed approaches 450 knots (833 km/h). Maximum takeoff weight exceeds 12,000 pounds (5,443 kg).

The Premier II represented the final development of the Premier line. Production ceased shortly thereafter. The aircraft remains in operation with private and charter operators.
