Operational Context

Embraer Lineage 1000 — ultra-large VIP business jet

The Lineage 1000 first flew in 2007 and entered service in 2009. It retains the E190’s wing and systems while incorporating a luxury-configured cabin. The aircraft includes multiple seating and entertainment zones.

Powered by two General Electric CF34 turbofan engines producing approximately 20,000 pounds of thrust (89 kN) each, the Lineage 1000 cruises at around Mach 0.82, approximately 470 knots (870 km/h). Maximum takeoff weight exceeds 120,000 pounds (54,432 kg). The cabin typically accommodates 13 to 19 passengers in VIP configuration.

The Lineage 1000 provided airline-scale comfort in a private format. Production numbers were limited but distinctive. The aircraft remains in specialized service worldwide.
