The NHI NH90 is a medium-sized, twin-engine military helicopter developed as part of the NATO Helicopter Program. It was designed and manufactured by NHIndustries, a collaborative company based in Italy and owned by Leonardo S.p.A., AgustaWestland (now Leonardo S.p.A.), and Fokker Aerostructures BVBA (now Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH). The design of the aircraft is heavily based on that of the American Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk.
